2012 Year 6 Ski Trip

Tuesday was a great opportunity for our senior children to participate in Richmond School’s first ever Ski and Snowboard trip. It was a chance to try new skills, take responsible risks, step out of their comfort zone and just have some radical fun. We drove through heavy fog but came out to the most beautiful sun bathed morning you could imagine. Our children were soon kitted up and on the slopes. After a 2 hour lesson they had learnt new skills and after lunch they were able to put those skills into practice. By mid afternoon it started to snow. There was no wind and the flakes were large and soft and almost created a white out condition. It was a magical experience.
Check out all the fun our year 6 children had at Porter Heights.
