Seeing RED
You will recall that last term we celebrated Red Sock Day by making Red Sock Puppet characters. By the end of our art lesson we all had a delightful puppet sock to play with. Our new puppet friends serve to remind us about the importance of having strong, inspiring leaders within our schools and communities.
This term our red theme has continued with our special Red Nose Day. Here at Richmond School we went all out by dressing in red as well. Every Te RITO Kid in Room 3 purchased a red nose to wear with our red clothing. We are thrilled to be able to help other children of our ages that have cancer. We understand the importance of sharing our own good fortune and resources with others that maybe going through difficult times. So while we did have a fun day coloured in red, we also recognise the significance of the Red Nose Day.
